When you're in Mexico City as a tourist, you don’t just picture it—you feel it. Some places you visit are so packed, it’s like nothing you’ve ever seen before. The sheer volume of humanity is overwhelming… and yet, strangely exhilarating. It’s chaotic, yes, but there’s a kind of joy in witnessing that much life all at once. I’d stop in my tracks, overwhelmed by the scene—then dive into filming, snapping photos, trying to hold onto the feeling. And yet, in the middle of all that, life carried on. People were deep in their routines, focused, committed, completely unaware that someone nearby was marveling at the beauty of their everyday. You feel that scale immediately when arriving by air—tiny houses stretch endlessly, packed tightly together like a living mosaic....

Green Mountain trail head, Lake Apopka Florida

This is a beautiful place to hike not far from Orlando. The entire trail is gravel. There are areas you can go that is grass. This is a well maintained trail. There are many places that you could enter the trail. It is a very long trail with loops. You have to pay attention to the loops that could mislead direction.
 
Along the way there are these canals. There is water everywhere. Lot of Birds and Alligators. At one point you see Lake Apopka. If you look carefully the next picture You can see an Alligator. I mainly saw little ones. They would sun bathe and  when they hear your foot steps jump in the water.
The Florida water management has a lot going on. Occasionally you will come across maintenance vehicles. The general public vehicles are not allowed.  
Pumps were used to get water from the lower elevation to higher. You  had some noise around here.
The plantation is beautiful with flowers of various colors. 


This trail is not suitable for road bikes although it allowed. I saw people riding gravel bikes. The trail is not crowded further in. But close to the parking areas you would see few people.

I would recommend that you prepare well for the trail and take water if you plan to do miles. Some entrances have fountains where you can fill your water bottles. There are bathrooms too. This particular area has neither.



It is shady at the beginning of the trail. As you progress it is open sun.  



At the entrance there is an overlook that you can see far into the trail.
