The dedication and hard work of the men and women really shine through, in the cleanliness of the city that is so meticulous. Their efforts are so effective. It makes a significant difference in the city's overall atmosphere and can greatly enhance the experience for both residents and visitors.
It can indeed feel unusual, but this is a common practice in many international airports. When you transit through Mexico City, even if you are not leaving the airport, you need to go through immigration. This is because you are technically entering the country, even if just for a short time.
Each country has its own policies regarding transit passengers, and it's always good to be prepared for these procedures. While it might add a bit of time to your journey, it also ensures that everyone entering the country, even briefly, is accounted for. Moreover the lines are long and require filling out forms. However, they handle it efficiently, ensuring you are never late for your next flight.
